  • #LogicallySpeaking presents . . . "Intro To Logic"

When I was 21, I embarked on a life long project that will – so the theory goes – one day manifest into my children’s' 21st birthday present. I resolved to record the lessons I learnt from that moment on, in the sincere hope that I may one day be able to present my children with a gift – a book of life lessons, if you will – that they could refer to as they progressed on their own life journeys. 7 years later, the endeavour is still going strong.

So, when Tehn approached me about the prospect of writing a column for his blog, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share what life has taught me along the way, and to share what life continues to teach me as we wrestle and tussle with each other.

In essence, this column is about mastering the art of life through the sincere and honest development of one's potential.

On a personal level, this column is about expressing myself. After all, why are we here if not to express ourselves right? But, in order to express myself honestly, I have to know myself intimately. So, this is an exercise in self discovery, and, to that end, I hope to leverage you guys just as much as I hope you will leverage what I have to share.

In my spare time, I like to read 19 century novels (if you haven't read Oscar Wilde's Picture of Dorian Gray, I recommend it. Highly!). I also enjoy dabbling in the works of great philosophers (the Age of Enlightenment owns me right now), and just generally trying to figure out this thing called life. In short, I think for fun.

So - without further ado – welcome to the logical extravaganza. I trust that you will enjoy the ride.

… Because that's just the logical thing to do.

    Sincerely,
    Logic
